4 Blogger Share Goals For Expanding Beyond Their Blogs In 2015 - Ashley Alteman, Jill Robbins, Toni Hammer, and Sara Pittman

Typically during my podcasts I interview an editor at one of your favorite sites.  This week we are switching it up a bit and talking to bloggers about some of their goals for going Beyond their blogs this year.  Join me in talking with my four guests about 4 very different goals, and share your own in the comments!

4 Blogger Share Goals For Expanding Beyond Their Blogs In 2015 - Ashley Alteman, Jill Robbins, Toni Hammer, and Sara Pittman

The podcast includes the following guests and highlights

Guest #1 – Ashley Alteman discusses her goal of expanding her newly created submission site Say It With A Bang! in 2015.

Ashley Alteman of Crazy Life of Smash! and Say It With A Bang!

Crazy Life of Smash! is written by Ashley Alteman. She is known for her love of dinosaurs, miniature ponies wearing sweaters, and her overuse of commas. She won a spelling bee in the 8th grade for correctly spelling the word ‘carrot’ and knew from that moment forward she was destined to be an amazing journalist…or a sarcastic blogger. She went with the latter.  Follow Ashley: Facebook (Say It With A Bang!), Facebook (Crazy Life of Smash!), & Twitter

Guest #2 – Kirsten Jill Robbins shares her goals to branch out into anthologies and also to be involved in her local Listen To Your Mother show in 2015.

Jill writes about adoption, motherhood and midlife on her blog, Ripped Jeans and Bifocals. She has a degree in social psychology that she uses to try and make sense out of the behavior of her husband and three children, but it hasn’t really helped so far. She enjoys dry humor and has a love/hate relationship with running. Her writing has been featured on Scary Mommy, In the Powder Room, Mamalode, and Blunt Moms. She willingly answers any questions that end with “and would you like wine with that?”. Follow Jill on FacebookTwitter and Pinterest.

Guest #3 – Sara Pittman’s 2015 blogging goals involve submitting her writing and being accepted to more websites, as well as attending her first blog conference.

Sara Pittman

Sara is a mom of 3 and the writer at Happy & Humble.  She is stumbling through organized chaos on a daily basis using sarcasm and humor to stay sane.  Just baking bread and taking names.  Follow Sara on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+

Guest #4 – Toni Hammer hopes to submit and be accepted in more anthologies in 2015 and also has some goals around getting her book published.  Another goal we discuss is her desire to get a weekly contributor position with a website.

Toni Hammer

Toni Hammer never planned on having kids, but she’s now a stay-at-home mom to Lillian and Levi who were born 355 days apart because the universe has an awesome sense of humor.  She chronicles her mommy misadventures at Is It Bedtime Yet?, and a book of the same name is being pitched to publishers right this very second. She’s a Scary Mommy staff writer, Huffington Post blogger, and expert Top Chef watcher. If you’re a fellow social media addict, you can find her trying to be funny on Facebook and Twitter. She loves food she doesn’t have to cook, and drowns her mommy guilt in copious amounts of coffee and Diet Coke.
