  1. Thanks to Susan for the chance to talk about everybody’s favourite dirty mama site. (Well dirty and not always sober either).
And Kristen & Vicki, it means the most to me that cadre writers, who get the brunt of the editorial process still love me. Your loyalty and passion for your writing is the light of my day.

  2. When you’re welcomed into the Blunt Moms family it is truly a warm embrace but also a kick in the vagina to keep writing not just words, but your best words. Challenge yourself. Challenges are welcome. Bare yourself. Rawness is always welcome. Know that it’s not always easy, but it’s always worth it.

  3. Speaking of word choice, be careful about using the word Nazi like that. I know it’s common to refer to grammar and punctuation sticklers in that way, but it’s pretty off-putting to a lot of people.

    1. Leah, you are absolutely right. I knew it the moment it was out of my mouth. I spend way to much time hanging out with the BluntMoms writers, who collectively have the sensitivity of an anvil, and the political correctness of Mad Men soooo I forget to be politique from time to time. You probably wouldn’t like my friends though, so consider me corrected and thanks.

  4. This was absolutely awesome! I have a MUCH better idea of what the submission process will be like and I am super pumped to have my word babies torn to pieces. Bring it on Magnolia. Bring. It. On! Looking forward to creating some epic content on how I struggled with breastfeeding.

    HAHA JUST MESSING WITH YOU!

I’ll be sending my raw and uncomfortable piece shortly.

A huge thank you to Susan as well for putting this podcast together. Outstanding!
